[THE INVESTOR] LG Electronics on Oct. 24 introduced a Bluetooth speaker that floats in the air by utilizing magnetic technology.

If users click a button on the Woofer Station, the speaker will rise using the magnetic technology, the company said. It also automatically lands back in the station when the battery is low.

The speaker runs for nearly 10 hours on a single charge, making it also suitable for outdoor use.

The speaker is also IPX7 water resistant, which can endure around 30 minutes in a depth of 1 meter, it added.

The price tag on the device stands at 369,000 won (US$326).
