The 6th Vietnam Informatics Olympiad, sponsored by Hanwha Life for the second consecutive year, was held Friday to Saturday at Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology under University of Da Nang.

This year’s competition recorded the highest number of participants to date, demonstrating the increasing interest in IT education across Vietnam.

A key addition to this year’s Olympiad was the newly introduced artificial intelligence track, aimed at fostering digital talent for future global financial innovation. This initiative aligns with Hanwha Life’s long-term strategy of investing in AI and expanding digital financial services.

In addition to the competition, Hanwha Life hosted a lecture series to provide participants and local residents with insights into global finance and fintech.

“The AI category and financial education are part of the Future Plus Global initiative, integrating the company’s overseas corporate social responsibility efforts,” emphasized Hong Jung-pyo, vice president of the communications office at Hanwha Life. “We will continue to support local talent development and financial education infrastructure.”

"This initiative will become a platform for young Vietnamese talent to thrive, regardless of their social background," stated Huynh Cong Phap, president of the Vietnam-Korea ICT University, expressing his gratitude for Hanwha Life's support.

Meanwhile, Hanwha Life plans to expand its collaboration with ChildFund Korea to further develop financial and ICT education programs in Vietnam, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing future digital talent.
