Hyundai Card announced on Monday that it has launched a mobile payment service in Taiwan in collaboration with global payment service provider Line Pay.

The latest partnership aims to enhance the mobile payment experience for Hyundai Card's 12 million members traveling to Taiwan, the company said.

With QR code payments already widely used at convenience stores, large supermarkets and restaurants in Taiwan, Hyundai Card members visiting the country can now make payments easily without installing additional applications or undergoing complex procedures. Instead, they can use the Hyundai Card mobile app to pay effortlessly.

To further enhance convenience, Hyundai Card also provides a "franchise map" feature that helps customers locate places where Line Pay is accepted, ensuring a seamless experience throughout Taiwan.

"Through collaborations with global partners such as Premium, PLCC, and American Express, we have strengthened our product competitiveness and differentiated ourselves with experiences," said a Hyundai Card official.

"We are confident that this collaboration with Line Pay, the leading mobile payment service in Taiwan, will further enhance the payment convenience for Hyundai Card members traveling abroad."
