South Korean housing materials company LX Hausys said Wednesday it has been recognized as an Industry Mover in the 2024 Corporate Sustainability Assessment, or CSA, released by S&P Global, highlighting its outstanding sustainability performance.

Among 7,690 companies reviewed, only 56 earned the Industry Mover title by achieving the most significant increase in their CSA scores, with at least a 5 percent year-over-year growth. LX Hausys was the only company in the building products industry to receive this distinction, recording a 13 percent on-year increase.

LX Hausys secured top rankings in three segments: climate change strategy, environment policy and management and risk management. The company successfully reduced carbon emissions for five consecutive years and obtained international environmental sustainability certifications, including ISO standards.

As a result of these achievements, LX Hausys was also included in S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook Member 2025, which features 780 global enterprises ranked in the top 15 percent of their respective industries based on rating scores.

“We are honored to be recognized for our strong ESG performance, and we will continue to enhance our ESG capabilities in response to global climate change challenges," said an LX Hausys official.

LX Hausys is the only Korea-based interior company to be included in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices for ten consecutive years. The company has also maintained an ESG rating of “A” for nine consecutive years from the Korea ESG Standards Institute.
