LG Chem announced Friday the launch of its new injectable skin booster, HP Vitaran, in Thailand, marking its latest move to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia’s rapidly growing beauty market.

HP Vitaran is formulated with polynucleotide, a regenerative, gel-like substance designed to improve skin texture and elasticity. Unlike topical skincare products, the treatment is injected directly into the skin, offering deeper, more visible and long-lasting results, the company said.

The launch builds on the success of Yvoire, LG Chem’s flagship dermal filler, which debuted in Thailand in 2021 and established a strong foothold for the company in the region, LG Chem added.

According to the Thai Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Surgery, Thailand’s market for non-surgical beauty treatments is expected to double by 2030, growing from 700 billion won ($480 million) in 2023 to 1.5 trillion won ($1.03 billion).

Amid this growth, the South Korean chemicals giant said it is expanding its portfolio to meet the rising demand for simple and effective treatments that enhance natural beauty without surgery.

In addition to HP Vitaran and Yvoire, LG Chem plans to introduce its premium filler brand, Y-Solution, in Thailand as part of its strategy to diversify its offerings and establish the country as a central hub for its Southeast Asian expansion.

“We remain committed to providing safe and effective treatments that meet the diverse needs of customers worldwide, whether for improving skin or enhancing facial features,” said Noh Ji-hye, head of LG Chem’s Aesthetics Division.
