[THE INVESTOR] LG Electronics said on Nov. 19 it took part in an e-sports competition that kicked off in the United States last week and promoted the company’s high-end desktop monitor, the LG UltraGear, which is optimized for gaming.

The Korean tech giant, which participated in DreamHack Atlanta, said it promoted the 34-inch LG UltraGear at the venue, which comes with a faster processing speed, helping gamers play without any delay.

LG claimed that the monitor also comes with a 21:9 resolution, providing users with a wider viewing angle compared with 16:9 resolution products.

The company added the Nano IPS display can deliver accurate color as intended by game developers. Among other features, Nvidia’s G-Sync technology is especially useful for shooting games, which call for faster screen transition, LG added.

LG invited the FaZe Clan, a popular e-sports team, to the event, where it played a popular online game, “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds,” with visitors using the LG UltraGear monitor while sharing tips with other players.
