[THE INVESTOR] Samsung Electronics said on Nov. 9 that 30 of its latest products have been selected as 2019 CES Innovation Awards winners.

The 30 products were honored for outstanding design and engineering in cutting-edge consumer electronics technology.

The US Consumer Technology Association announced innovative products in 28 product categories, two months before the Consumer Electronics Show returns to Las Vegas from Jan. 8-11. 

“Innovation is in our DNA, as is our commitment to delivering transformational products that create meaningful experiences for our consumers. To be recognized by our industry peers, year over year, for our relentless pursuit of innovative design and engineering is truly an honor,” Tim Baxter, president and CEO of Samsung Electronics North America, said in the statement.

Samsung’s award-winning products include two Best of Innovation recipients and span categories across virtual and augmented reality, wearable technologies, smart home, fitness, sports and biotech, it said.
