[THE INVESTOR] Mercedes-Benz Korea said on Nov. 7 it has expanded its research and development center in Seoul, making it into its Asian hub for developing autonomous and connected vehicles.

“Through the expansion of the center, it is expected that our role as a research and development hub in Asia will be strengthened for implementing CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Services and Electric), Mercedes-Benz’s future strategy, and we will continue our contribution to the Korean society,” Mercedes-Benz Korea President and CEO Dimitris Psillakis said in the statement.
