[THE INVESTOR] Korean stocks ended higher on Sept. 21 as investor sentiment was buoyed by the record close on Wall Street and eased concerns over global trade disputes, analysts said. The Korean won rose against the US dollar.

The benchmark KOSPI added 15.72 points, or 0.68 percent, to 2,339.17, hitting the highest since June 27. Trade volume was moderate at 306.55 million shares worth 7.06 trillion won (US$6.33 billion), with winners outnumbering losers 573 to 255.

The Korean currency closed at 1,115.30 won against the US dollar, up 5.10 won from the previous session’s close.
