[THE INVESTOR] Hankook Tire Manufacturing said on Sept. 17 it has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Indices for the third consecutive year.

Hankook Tire ranked in 2018 as one of the most outstanding companies in the Auto Components Sector, scoring high marks in the areas of environment-friendly strategy, supplier chain management and corporate social responsibility, the company said in a statement.  

DJSI World, launched in 1999, is the first global index to track the financial, environmental and social influence of the world‘s top 2,500 companies in market capitalization.

In 2017, Hankook Tire sold 99 million tires produced at its eight plants -- two in Korea, three in China, one in Hungary, one in Indonesia and one in the United States.
