[THE INVESTOR] State-sponsored industry tracker Korea Brand Management Association said on April 12 that LG Electronics provides the best warranty services among rivals in Korea.

The association said this is the fourth year that LG Electronics topped the list of tech manufacturers in the field. The KBMA annually announces the Korea Customer Surprise Brand Index, which centers on honoring brands that deliver satisfactory services and goods to consumers.

The study covered warranty services for various electronics, including refrigerators, washers, air conditioners, laptops and smartphones.

The company said it is significant that the KBMA recognized LG’s efforts to communicate with consumers that already bought its products.

LG also highlighted that the company operates some 150 warranty centers across the country, with some locations offering services late at night and even on weekends.
