LG to launch budget smartphone X401 this week
[THE INVESTOR] LG Electronics said Nov. 5 it will start sales of a new budget smartphone this week, which is equipped with a wide-angle front camera for quality selfies.
The company said the LG X401 will be released on Nov. 7 with a price tag of 289,300 won (US$259) through SK Telecom and LG Uplus.
LG said the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel front camera with a 120-degree angle, which easily outpaces the 70-80 degree angles adopted by other products in the market. The device also boasts a 13-megapixel main camera on the back.
The 5.3-inch smartphone comes with a data storage capacity of 16 gigabytes, along with a battery of 2,800 mAh.
