[DISCLOSURE] Samsung Electronics (005930) reported on Oct. 31 that its operating profit in the third quarter soared 179.48 percent to 14.53 trillion won (US$12.94 billion) from the same period last year.

Its revenue rose 29.77 percent on-year to 62.05 trillion won and net profit 146.66 percent to 11.19 trillion won.
