An innovation research lab has also been launched to be led by Charles Ahn, CEO of biometric solution developer CrucialTec and the association chairman. The lab aims to carry out diverse marketing and partnership projects to promptly respond to the ever-evolving industrial trends.

“Like individual companies, our association has to respond to business environment more promptly,” Ahn said in a statement. “The venture industry will play a bigger role in creating quality jobs, leading innovation in the era of the fourth industrial revolution and creating a venture business eco-system.”

Established in 1995, the association has more than 14,000 venture firms as members.
