Doosan Infracore ventures into Vietnam
[THE INVESTOR] Doosan Infracore said on July 11 that it plans to provide some 500 engines to be mounted on buses in Vietnam.
Korea’s leading construction equipment maker said it showcased a compressed natural gas-powered bus in Ho Chi Minh City in a ceremony with local commercial vehicle manufacturer SAMCO.
It plans to provide CNG engines to other Vietnamese carmakers, such as TRACOMECO.
Last year, a total of 14,770 buses were sold in Vietnam, sharply up from 12,178 units a year earlier.
