[THE INVESTOR] Samsung Electronics on May 30 showcased a high-end refrigerator made with porcelain materials, which comes with a price tag of 14.9 million won (US$13,270).

The Korean tech giant said the latest refrigerator of its premium kitchen appliances lineup, the Chef Collection, comes with a unique interior design by utilizing porcelain.

Samsung said its development and design team visited seven countries and conducted numerous tests to find optimistic material, which was treated with 27-step procedures.

“(The Chef Collection Porcelain) is a masterpiece that combined the innovative technologies of the Chef Collection and Korean craftsmanship,” the company said.

The Chef Collection Porcelain comes in black with 915-liter capacity.
