[DISCLOSURE] Samsung Electronics (005930) announced on April 27 that it has decided to acquire 900,000 common shares and 225,000 preferred shares and retire. 

The total amounts to 1.93 trillion won (US$1.71 billion) for common stocks and 369.23 billion won for preferred stocks.
