[THE INVESTOR] LIG Nex1 will benefit from the accelerating scheme to build an independent defense system, said NH Investment and Securities on April 21, maintaining a “buy” recommendation and 110,000 won (US$96.84) target price. 

Tensions are rising following the continuous provocations from North Korea, and the Ministry of Defense announced that it will expedite building a missile defense system tailored to our needs in the next six months, said analyst Yu Jae-hun. 

This will advance the external growth of the defense company which is in talks for a series of weapons export including Raybold and Korea-style GPS guided bombs, said the analyst, forecasting that new orders will begin to increase gradually from the second quarter and the amount of new orders for the full year will reach 2 trillion won.
